Our father explained. ” It is the mother’s pouch. That is where a baby kangaroo stays. It styas there till it is four months old. The pouch keeps the baby kangaroo warm and happy. The baby goes to its motjer’s pouch then fastens its mouth to the mother’s nipples.”

” What happens when the baby kangaroo grows big and heavy?” my brother wanted to know. ” The mother’s pouch becomes larger and larger. The baby kangaroo has enough space till it is four months old. But the beaby kangaroo runs back to the pouch when it is frightened and the mother runs away from the danger. It the mother kangaroo sees a hunter it runs as fast as it can. When it becomes very tires, it drops its baby to save it from being caught or killed by hunters.” ” This mother kangaroo loves its baby verymuch, my brother said.
