Our father explained. ” It is the mother’s pouch. That is where a baby kangaroo stays. It styas there till it is four months old. The pouch keeps the baby kangaroo warm and happy. The baby goes to its motjer’s pouch then fastens its mouth to the mother’s nipples.”

But the beaby kangaroo runs back to the pouch when it is frightened and the mother runs away from the danger. It the mother kangaroo sees a hunter it runs as fast as it can.
